WALA™

WALA™ is the latest generation in bulk explosive technology. WALA™ has been developed by the founders of Sun Mining Services to tackle the daily challenges facing modern day blasting. WALA™ is the ultimate solution where post blast fuming, deep hole blasting, longer sleeping time in wet condition and powder factor control is a concern.

Nano technology concept is used in the design of WALA™. WALA™ ingredients demonstrate Nano particle behaviour in the blast hole. The Nano particle behaviour is mainly responsible for the high water resistance, flexible density, low critical diameter, longer shelf life and more importantly non-fuming characteristic. The technology is called NanoBlok™ .

WALA™ can be used as a light density explosive. WALA™ can achieve densities as low as 0.4 g/cc. NanoBlok characteristic of WALA™ allows reduction in powder factor without any reduction in blast performance. Light density WALA™ blends can replace conventional Emulsion Heavy ANFO blends in dewatered blastholes while reducing the powder factor by up to 50%. Light Density WALA™ (as low as 0.7 g/cc) can be pumped in wet holes without charge floatation concern. For more information please contact our technical team.
